Present A Greek Yoga Adventure

Amorgos Island, June 26- July 3rd, 2021

Escape, Unwind and Refresh In Amorgos Island, Greece

Escape with us to a little piece of my homeland in the Cycladic Island of Amorgos. We are returning again for our second retreat in less than a year to this beautiful island paradise. Jo Parsons and I will be teaching atleast one and sometimes two yoga classes per day in the extremely beautiful yoga shalas of the resort. We will be alternating between power vinyasa, yin and soft flow. Classes will be appropriate for all levels. The views from the shalas will inspire you and the rooftop sunset yoga session will take your breath away. This retreat is more of a yoga advenure to a far off land where you will experience new foods, culture and a slower pace of life. Our focus will be on new experiences and adventures. During your free time you have the option to choose different group activities that the island offers such as a Greek cooking class, treking, snorkeling, scuba or just relaxing on the various beaches or by the pool. Enjoy the amazing views of this dramatic island, visit ancient sites perched on cliffs, shop the boutiques in the small village streets. You will experience the best of Greek culture sharing conversations over great meals, with sunsets and the beauty of the island before you.

Unwind with unlimited use of the Lalon Idor Spa Facilities including sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, indoor heated swimming pool and fitness center at the Aegialis Hotel. The name of the Spa is taken from the story of the ancient water oracle dedicated to god Apollo, where visitors came seeking clarity and answers in prophetic water readings.

Amorgos offers the traditional Cycladic architecture and culture without being overrun with tourists and visiting cruise ships. June is an excellent time to visit with the start of the summer season, low amounts of tourists and happy locals ready for the summer visitors. Temperatures should be from the mid 70s to high 80s.

Join us for this opportunity to journey into Greek culture at its finest.

On Amorgos, our home is a beautiful spa hotel with spectacular views, owned by a local family who welcomes us with Greek hospitality. A walking path leads to two amazing beaches nearby as well as the little fishing village of Aegiali. All rooms have balconies and sea views. We will have two delicious meals at the hotel each day with breakfast every day and alternating between lunch and dinner depending on the days schedule. The food is amazing and the chef features family recipes with locally sourced ingredients. We will eat out a couple of the nights so you can experience more flavors of the island.
